Robert Frischman

After a long, difficult and courageous battle against brain cancer, Robert William Frischman passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the age of 53. He left us on his own terms, peacefully and quietly, with the love of his life, Maria Wille by his side. Robert was an incredible father, who leaves behind his son Jack, his daughters Olivia and Chloe, and his step-daughters Alyssa and Milani. He was the loving son of Joan and David Frischman, and cherished brother of Nancy Frischman Marsillo and Betsy (Peter) Fischer. In addition to his three nieces, two nephews and extended family, Rob leaves behind countless friends and colleagues who adored him.

After graduating from Clark University, Robert was a commercial real estate broker in New York City. He owned and operated JDF Realty, and later worked for Evo Real Estate Group. In his younger days, he worked as a DJ and formed his own company, Blue Cat Entertainment. He was an athlete who loved golf, basketball, skiing and running. He competed in the New York City Marathon in 2014 and remarkably ran in two half-marathons not long after his first brain surgery. He treasured time spent with all his children and relaxing on the beach with Maria. Rob loved music, the Knicks, Mets, and his beloved Miami Dolphins. He lived his life fully, embracing his friends and family, appreciating all his blessings during every phase of his journey. He set a shining example for all and taught us the meaning of courage, strength and unconditional love. #FrischStong

The funeral service will take place on Sunday, March 11, 1:30pm at Temple B’Nai Jeshurun, 1025 South Orange Ave, Short Hills, NJ In lieu of flowers, please donate to Cure for IBD, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn’s Disease.
