Richard E. Carbone, 86, of Livingston, formerly of Randolph, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to the memorial gathering at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home of Livingston, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., on Thursday, 4-8 PM. The Memorial Mass celebrating his life will be offered at St. Philomena’s Church, 386 S. Livingston Ave. on Saturday at 10 AM. Cremation was private. Please omit flowers but memorial contributions to Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 95 Old Short Hills Rd., West Orange, would be greatly appreciated.
Richard was born in Chicago, IL and lived in Randolph many years moving to Livingston 30 years ago. He served with the Navy/Marines during World War II and was a member of the American Legion. Richard was Chief Draftsman at Automatic Switch in Florham Park for 38 years retiring in 1986.
Surviving is his beloved wife Jeanne (Winelander), his devoted children Richard E., Jr., Erin Sipley and Jennifer Kuehneman; he is also survived by his loving grandchildren Clair Herrera, Cassandra and Joshua Jenkins, Beverly Kuehneman and great grand children Cole and Sadie Herrera.
