Born in Queens, New York on July 12, 1927, Rhoda was a proud graduate of Queens College. She married her beloved Malcolm on October 18, 1951, and together they raised three children, Steven, Robert, and Carol in Livingston, NJ.
A true lover of life, Rhoda spent many happy days traveling the world, drinking cosmopolitans, and soaking up sun on South Florida golf courses. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. A loving mother, sister and grandmother, Rhoda never missed an opportunity to offer help or guidance to those she loved. Even with seven grandchildren scattered across the country, she managed to make each of them feel special and important year after year.
Rhoda was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm, daughter, Carol, and brother, Marty. Rhoda leaves behind her sons; Robert and Steven, grandchildren; Ryan, Lindsey, Erin, Laura, Kari, Ben, Erica, great-grandson; Sal, and children-in-law; Traci and Bill.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 21st at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, New Jersey at 10:15 am. Interment will be in Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pap Corps (http://www.papcorps.org).
