Phyllis Ruth Kopp, age 77, of Basking Ridge, New Jersey passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022.
Born and raised in Long Branch, NJ, Phyllis lived in White Meadow Lake before moving to Basking Ridge 30 years ago. A graduate of Monmouth College, she earned her Master’s Degree from Kean University. She worked in various roles as a business administrator and was a Councilwoman in Rockaway Township in the 1980s. She was also recently on the board of the Morristown Jewish Center as well as an active member of the Sisterhood. She loved cooking, playing Mahjong with her friends, reading books, and watching the ocean.
Phyllis was the beloved wife of Paul Kopp of 31 years, loving mother of Stephanie Lynn Hantman Silbiger (Barry), and the late Paul Bryan Hantman, cherished step-mother of Jason Zev Kopp (Danielle), proud grandmother of Gabi (Max), Justin, Craig, Brayden, and Quinn.
