Nick J. Nardone

Nick J.Nardone, age 77 of West Orange, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday July 28, 2012. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Raphael’s Church 346 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ, on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 10 AM. The family will receive their friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Avenue Livingston, NJ; on Monday July 30, 2012 from 5-9 PM. Nick served as a police officer for the City of Newark for 31 years retiring as a Lieutenant in 1989. After his retirement he worked as a Private Investigator. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the PBA and the Superior Officers Association of Newark and Essex County, the Columbian Association, the Retired Police & Fireman’s Association and was Sgt. at Arms for the New Jersey State Detective’s Association. Nick is the beloved husband for 56 years to Gilda Nardone, devoted father of Nicholas J. Nardone, Edie Gambino and her husband John, Roseann Nardone-Downey and her husband John and Toniann Nardone-Ruja, loving grandfather of Necole, Brianna, Arielle, Erica and Jonathan Nicholas, dear brother of Jean Coppola, Emil and Anthony Nardone and the late Anna Gonello.
