Services will be conducted from the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston, on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 9 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philomena’s Church in Livingston at 10 am. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. The visitation will take place on Tuesday from 4-8 pm.
Born in Newark, Mary moved to Livingston in 1957. Before raising her family, she worked as a bookkeeper for Wallace & Tiernan in Belleville and then Renfield Importers in Newark.
She was a member of St. Philomena’s Church, the Oak Leaf, Thursday’s Seniors Club, and the American Legion, all in Livingston, the East Hanover Senior Citizens, and AARP.
She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard A. Rubino, loving mother of Frances Tosti and her husband, Robert, Vincent Rubino and his wife Marie, and Frank Rubino, dear sister of Paul Lopapa, Ann Yunker, and the late Nicholas Lopapa, and cherished grandmother of Bernadette, Alexis, Steven, Todd, Natalie, Heather, Peter, David, and Stephen. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers kindly make contributions to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
