Margaret Z. Seggel

Born in Wisconsin to Harold and Linnea Zabel, she grew up in Glen Ridge where she excelled in girls’ sports. After marriage, she and her husband, the late Richard Seggel, lived in Livingston, Allamuchy, and Chatham, before moving to Crane’s Mill in West Caldwell. They also had a home in Lavallette where many wonderful summer memories were made.

Margaret was the beloved mother to Peter A. Seggel (Nancy) of Lavallette, NJ, Patricia S. Small (Allan) of Savannah, GA, and Dr. Mark R. Seggel (Judi) of Olney, MD. She had 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and was the Godmother to Joshua Small of Morris Plains. Her family was her greatest joy and she was devoted to them.
