Mrs. Lillian Sylvin, 93, of Roseland, N.J., died July 1, 2012, in Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, N.J. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, at 10:30 a.m. in the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston, with interment in Beth David Memorial Park, Kenilworth, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., on Sept. 21, 1918, to the late Bella and Benjamin Panzer, Mrs. Sylvin moved to Roseland 32 years ago. She graduated from beauty culture school and had been a beautician for many years. An avid bridge player, Mrs. Sylvin was a member of the Senior Citizens at Temple B'nai Abraham. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Max, and her dear brothers, Irving and Hy Panzer, Lillian was the devoted mother of Vickie (Ira) Coleman, and Benjamin (Michele) Sylvin; the cherished sister of Dorothy Kurzweil; the loving grandmother of Corey Handler, Kip (Jon) Mandelbaum, Dr. Erik (Allison) Sylvin, Jared Sylvin, and Darren Sylvin, and the adoring great-grandmother (Bubbe) of Eden and Madden Mandelbaum. She will be greatly missed.
