Visitation will be on Thursday, April 25, from 4-8 pm at the LaMonica Memorial Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday in Our Lady of Peace Church in New Providence at 10 am, followed by the entombment in St. Theresa’s Cemetery in Summit.
Leonard was born in Newark and lived in Bloomfield before moving to New Providence over 5 years ago.
A Korean War veteran, Leonard was a graduate of Bloomfield College where he received a BA in Education. His career as an educator spanned more than 30 years, primarily with the Scotch Plains Fanwood School District.
Leonard was predeceased by his parents Pauline and Frank Danduone and siblings Mildred LaMantia and Salvatore Danduone. He is survived by his beloved wife Susan (nee Sarcone), loving children Lisa Nesto and her husband Salvatore, and Gina Conti and her husband Kurt, and cherished grandchildren Austin, Brooke, Hunter, Raymond, Matthew, and Derek.
