Katherine R. McCabe

Katherine Reilly McCabe, age 98, of Livingston, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday March 22, 2020. Services will be held at a later date. Katherine grew up during the great depression, she was the last of eight siblings and among the last of the greatest generation. Katherine was a member of the Livingston Women’s Club, she chaired the Social Concerns committee for many years, working at the community food bank, clothing and food drives. Katherine along with her late husband Jack were founding members of St. Raphael’s Church in Livingston. Katherine was predeceased by her husband Jack McCabe, her daughter Kathy McCabe, daughter-in-law Jill McCabe and her eight siblings. She is survived by her devoted children Jean McCabe Bender, John F. and his wife Kathleen McCabe, Robert and his wife Barbara McCabe, Peter McCabe, and Mark and his wife Debby McCabe, her loving grandchildren John, Danielle, Michael, Jackie, Casey, Bari and Reilly and eight great-grandchildren. Katherine is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
