Joseph Arthur William, Jr., 90, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side, on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Born in Jersey City, NJ, Joseph resided in Livingston for the past 6 years. Joseph worked as a truck driver before he began working for the Lyndhurst DPW. He was very active in the teamsters Union, and was proud to have negotiated contract and benefits for future generations.
Joseph was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sandra, his son Scott, and his son-in-law Triain Budi. He is survived by his loving children, Kathleen Ataide and her husband Ricardo, and Tracey Budi; his cherished grandchildren, Alexandria Sherrer, David Ataide, Dennis Budi, Matthew Budi, and Nicolette, Budi; and his great-grandchildren, Sean, Savanna, and Sklya.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, from 10am-12pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston. Funeral service will begin at the conclusion of the visitation at 12 pm, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Joseph’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. (see link below)
