Jerome “Jerry” Martin Weiser passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 in Cooperstown, NY at the age of 96. He joins his wife, Barbara Sheer Weiser, whom he loved dearly, and never loved another.
Jerry was a proud World War II veteran (1945-1946) and loved sharing stories from his time in service. He was a longtime resident of Bloomfield, NJ and owner of Broad Street Hardware. He worked into his 90s at the Brookdale ShopRite.
He is survived by his daughter Ellen, his sister Cookie, and grandchildren Brett, Shay, and Andie.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Veterans Association, or any charity of your choosing, as Jerry was a lifelong supporter of many philanthropic organizations.
Funeral services will be held Sunday February 5th, 2023 at 1pm at the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Funeral Chapel in Livingston, NJ.
