Jean Ellen Silverman Kaufman, 84, born in Newark, NJ ; died on September 30, 2015. She was a graduate of Skidmore College. She was married to Robert W. Kirschbaum for 24years. Ten years later she married George who survives her. She was a member of Congregation B'nai Jeshurun for over 75 years. She was a member of the Garden State Yacht Club, Past President of B'nai Brith Women and Volunteered with the Red Cross . Lover of the Opera, and the NY Mets. She worked as an Underwriter in the Insurance Field. She is survived by her husband, George, her three children, William, Mary Ellen, and Kenneth ( Lori). Her Step-son Thomas (Donna), Step-daughter Jane Spilatro ( Steven); and five Grandsons. Services will be held on Sunday October 4, 2015 ; at 2pm. At Congregation B'nai Jeshurun, Short Hills, NJ
