Herbert Richard “Rich” Siegel, 77, passed away peacefully on May 4th, 2021. Raised in Linden NJ, Richard made his home in Cranford for the last 43 years. His greatest passion was his family.
Richard was predeceased by his parents Susan and Irving Siegel. He is survived by his wife Jeanette (Jacobs) Siegel, his children Robert Siegel, Kim (Siegel) Francis and her husband Adam; stepchildren Marci Cohen and Adam Cohen; grandchildren Matthew and Mackenzie Siegel, Boyd and Zachary Francis; brother and sister-in-law Dr. Jeffrey and Karen Siegel, and their children Josh Siegel and Nicole Ogoff.
Richard was an avid car enthusiast, who proudly showed his 1954 Corvette at many competitions. He was available to anyone who required help, and was known for his generosity of spirit and larger than life personality. His loss will be felt by many beyond his family.
