Gerry Greenspan, 77, passed away at home on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Gerry spent most of his life in Livingston, NJ before moving to Florham Park three years ago.
A graduate of Weequahic High School and University of Maryland, Gerry played with the NBA for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1963-1964 and is remembered in the Newark Hall of Fame and the Metrowest Jewish Sports Hall of Fame 2005.
Loving father of Jamie and Jill Greenspan, devoted grandfather of Taylor, Sydney, and Lindsay, cherished brother of Barbara Drucks and Adele Harris.
