Frances Sarcona

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Frances Sarcone on October 11, 2023. At 96 years old, Frances' journey began in Belleville, NJ, made a home in Bloomfield, NJ, and finally found tranquility in Toms River, NJ.

Frances devoted a quarter-century to Hoffman-La Roche in Nutley, NJ. Her role as a supervisor is a testament to her dedication and leadership. She celebrated her retirement in 1990, marking the end of a vibrant career. Frances was not just about work; she was an enthusiast of bowling and golf. Her joy was infectious, especially when she was tanning on a back patio, and in the kitchen cooking and laughing with her family.

Family was the core of Frances' world. Her children, Susan Dellanno, Debra (Bill) Dudonis, and John (Holly) Sarcone, will forever treasure memories of their loving mother. As a grandmother, she was cherished and loved by Brent, Michael (Ona), Lisa (Matt), Allie, Dane, Andrew, and Nicholas. The legacy continues with her dear sister, Susan Danduone. Frances now finds peace alongside her son-in-law, Perry Dellanno, and her late siblings: Louise Sarcone, Yolanda Rizzo, Ida Pasquariello, James, Nicholas, Jack, and Anthony Sarcone.

Frances' expansive family, including countless nieces, nephews, and relatives, are a testament to the love and joy she shared.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2-6pm at LaMonica Memorial Home, 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ. An additional visitation will take place on Monday, October 16, 2023 from 10-11am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 63 Franklin Street, Belleville, NJ, with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11am. Frances will be laid to eternal rest at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield, NJ.

To honor Frances' generous spirit, the family encourages donations to her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
