Eleanor Clarich of West Orange, N.J., died Oct. 12, 2020. She was born in New York City, and raised her family in Brooklyn before moving to Livingston, N.J. Eleanor (Small) married Daniel Clarich (of blessed memory), with whom she had recently celebrated 65 years together. They raised two children, Patti (Alan) Lowy and Jonathan Clarich. She is also survived by a sister, Frances Carter and brother Arnold Small, four grandchildren, Jared (Heather) Lowy, Andrew (Sara) Lowy, Samantha (Steven) Mulichak, Jesse Clarich, and two great-grandchildren, Lance Lowy and Sutton Mulichak.
Eleanor was an active member of Temple Beth Shalom, Livingston, NJ for 50 years. She was a teacher in the Livingston Public Schools for 25 years.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. Donations may be made in her memory to Temple Beth Shalom, Livingston, NJ or Daughters of Israel Care Center, West Orange, NJ.
