On Saturday, September 10th, 2022, Chung Yuan Liu, loving husband, father of three, and grandfather of two, passed away at age eighty-eight. A distinguished Professor, Researcher and Author, Chung earned a Doctorate in Biological Chemistry. As an academic, he taught at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University and National Tsing-Hau University. Chung dedicated his life to learning and the pursuit of science and in 1989 was the Secretary General for the International Scientific Symposium on Fibrinogen, Thrombosis, Coagulation and Fibrinolysis in Taiwan.
Chung is predeceased by his loving wife, Ruth, and is survived by his children, Lisa, Jane, and Joey, and grandchildren Benjamin and Oliver along with three brothers and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews
