Borel came to America determined to create new opportunities for his children and family. Once in America, Borel worked tirelessly to create and establish his own transportation business. During this time, he lived knowing that “education is the key to life” and with that philosophy he was able to put all of his children through college. He made contributions in the community by helping family and friends live by the same philosophy. His love extended to friends whom he cared for and treated as family.
Once retired, Borel continued his work within the community both in America and Haiti. Most importantly he spent his days nurturing and loving the new generations of his children. He has touched the hearts of so many and will truly be missed.
