Barry Wiener

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he has lived in Livingston for the past 50 years. After graduating from Rider University in 1959, Barry joined the US Army and became the company clerk as a corporal. He then went on to work in business management and became a regional manager for Channel Lumber.

Barry was the beloved husband of Rosie for over 58 years and loving father of Dori (Chuck) Hamill as well as his late son Michael. He was also the cherished brother of Lawrence Wiener. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and was adored by his menagerie of grand-animals in California. Barry was a member of Temple Beth Shalom and the Temple Beth Shalom Men's Club, a former member of the West Orange Knights of Pythias, and a member of the ZBT fraternity.

A funeral service for Barry will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, NJ 07039. Following the funeral service, burial will be at 11:30 AM at Workers of Truth Cemetery, Cedar Lane and Pitman Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08610.
