Audrey Lois Murphy

Audrey was born in Orange, NJ to Furie and Catherine Powell, the 10th of 11 children. She died on August 8, 2014 after a long battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. Audrey was a 1956 graduate of Orange High School and was retired from PSE&G in Newark after 25 years of service. She loved cooking and gardening and was widely known for her sincere hospitality.

She is survived by her loving husband Frank, her four daughters Francine O’Connell and her husband Kevin, Linda Anagnost and her husband Allen, Mariann Klenke and her husband Ken, and Sandra. She also leaves behind her three, loving grandchildren Dennis O’Connell, Grace Anagnost, and Marlise Klenke, her sisters, Natalie Powell, Barbara Bittl, and Marie Iuzzolino. She was predeceased by her four brothers, Anthony, Frank, Joseph, and Furie, and by three sisters Annette Renga, Rose Powell, and Sylvia Roznoy.

Visitation will be held at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 145 E. Mt. Pleasant Ave., Livingston, NJ on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 4-8PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday August 13, 2014 at 10AM at St. Philomena Church, 396 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, NJ.
