Anthony was truly one of a kind. He had such a strong demeanor and tough guy exterior, but he was a softy under it all. He loved his family and friends deeply and Joanne and AJ were the center of his world. Anthony was quite a character and could tell the best and most animated stories, making the whole room laugh in hysterics. His smile and bright blue eyes would light up any room. You knew he truly loved you when he wasn’t afraid to tell you how he felt whether you wanted to hear it or not because he always had your best interests at heart.
Anthony loved having his routine, up early to get his coffee, walk the dog and off to the job of the day. Then you would find him in the afternoon, back home washing his truck in the driveway – it could never be clean enough! When he wasn’t washing the car, he would be fixing or building something at home. And let’s not forget about his love of the pups, Mo and Snow.
Anthony, the most hardworking man you knew, worked for Carpenter’s Local 15 and Anderson Interior Contracting, Inc. for over 35 years.
He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Cordasco) for 52 years and devoted father of Anthony Joseph (AJ) and his fiancé Jess (Elias). Brother-in -law to Rachel and Ed Damiano, Patricia and Joseph DiCicco and Annemarie Cordasco Pastena, devoted uncle to Danielle and husband Chris Medeiros, EJ Damiano and wife Lora Martinelli, Taylor DiCicco and Arabella Pastena. The loving great uncle to Filomena & Avellina Damiano and Luca Medeiros and granddad to Snow. He loved each and every one of the people in his life and will be missed by all his family and close friends.
The family would like to thank Dr. Siegel and his staff of Hackensack Meridian Center Health – Oncology for their continued support, love and care over the past 13 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Anthony to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation at www.themmrf.org
