Ms. Lang was born in Newark, NJ, to the late Rose and Robert Lang. She was the mother to six children: Linda, Carol (deceased), Albert, Johnny, Jane, and Edward. She was the grandmother to 13 grandchildren. She was the great grandmother of nine. Anna was blessed with her ninth great granddaughter on the Friday before she passed.
Anna enjoyed traveling and living life to the fullest. In her 26 years of living in Centerbridge II in Bridgewater, NJ Anna lived her life being kind and helpful to others, especially her many friends at Centerbridge. Throughout her life, she was able to do a lot of traveling, which was her passion, with her family and also with the many travel groups at her senior building. She loved a good meal at a nice restaurant surrounded by her loved ones.
Throughout her life, Anna was known for her kind and generous ways. As a young woman, Anna volunteered as a candy striper. Later in life, she continued to volunteer at her senior living building. She was always first in line to lend a helping hand. Anna helped to organize many trips and events over her 26 years of being a part of her senior building community. For the last five months of her life, she made Brookdale Community, in Florham Park, NJ her home. Due to the corona virus pandemic, family and friends were regularly able to visit with her safely outside or by her ground floor window.
During the holiday season, Anna was known to spread joy through her baking, especially her Christmas cookies. She would bake for days, with her many special recipes a family favorite. The holiday season was not the only time Anna baked, throughout the year, she could be counted on to bring a homemade goodie whenever she came to visit.
Anna will be remembered by her family and missed daily. Her generous heart and fighter spirit will live on through her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 East Mount Pleasant Avenue, Livingston, NJ., on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 10am. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ.
Based on current circumstances, and the changing COVID situation, services will be held for the immediate family only due to Covid-19 restrictions. We are all extremely disappointed that we are not able to have the traditional funeral services, but our concern is for our loved ones to stay safe and healthy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
