Anita Diane Sorrell, a very special spirit passed away on Monday, May 28, 2012. Her uncompromising love for all people she came in contact with will live on. Anita lived every day making her long battle with first multiple myeloma and then lung cancer a footnote to her life of caring and encouragement to others. There was never a more sincere and loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend, aerobic dancing instructor, co-worker, patient and even shopper. To meet her was to catch a ray of sunshine. Her life accomplishment was in how she touched so many people's lives in a meaningful way. Funeral service is on Wednesday, May 30, at 1 p.m. in the Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, 68 Old Short Hills Rd., Livingston. The family is very grateful to Dr Dan Moriatry, Dr David Siegal, and Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation for giving all of us so many extra years. Her memory will live on in the hearts of many but particularly in her sister, Lois Conway (Jim); her daughters, Lisa Gittleman (Victor), Tracy Horwitz (Bill), and especially her grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, Jessica and Rachel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation
