Theo proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was part of the 336th Ordinance Battalion which was the first Army Reserve unit deployed from Arkansas during the Vietnam War. After proudly serving his country in the military and retiring as a Staff Sergeant, Theo then began his career in law enforcement. After serving as a loyal law enforcement officer for forty-one years, he retired as Assistant Chief of the Arkansas State Capitol Police. Theo touched the lives of countless people throughout his life, more than he probably knew. He was loved by all and a jokester with everyone he met. Above all else, he adored his family, especially his son, daughter-in-law and granddaughters.
Those left to cherish the beautiful memories and legacy of Theo include his wife, Candy Pierce; son, Ben (Mandie) Pierce; granddaughters, Bri and Macyn Pierce; sister, Martha Robertson; brother-in-law, John and Melissa Riddle and their children; sister-in-law, Lisa Reed; several “framily” members, JJ and Jenny Martin, Buddy and Pam Hudson, Darren and Cecily Hooker and their children; Dwight and Kay Phillips; and a host of other friends that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2024 at Mabelvale Methodist Church with funeral service immediately following at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Pulaski County Animal Shelter.
