My thoughts & prayers are with your family!  I had the pleasure of working with Susan for many years and just recently reconnected with her on FB.  I was so
happy to hear from her and then so sad to hear of her passing.  Susan is someone I looked up too and think of often!  Rest In Peace my friend, until we meet again!

Susan was a great friend from our days at the Mount - we played guitars together for several years, both for Mass at churches around the state as the “Catholic Youth Singers” - and just for fun.  I also remember her wearing the infamous letter sweaters and her love of basketball.  I’m sure she will be missed by many, just as she was loved by so many. Rest In Peace dear friend.

 I remember Susan well from our days as classmates at the Mount; like others, I especially remember her in her letter sweater.  I live in Tennessee but get back to Little Rock regularly to visit family.  Last year during a visit home I ran into her at the liquor store--we both laughed about that fact, and joked that we hoped we'd see each other there again soon.

I talked with Susan just two days before she left us and am still in shock. Susan was a rare breed. She was direct and no-nonsense but never rude, always kind, compassionate and generous.  Nothing made her prouder than her children and grandchildren, and her skills as a mother and grandmother are evident in them. She loved hard, suffered quietly, and was simply a good person. I already miss her. Due to business travel I won't be able to attend the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers are with Don, Colin, John and the whole family, today and always. Whether you need a meal, a shoulder, someone to swap stories with, or just company for awhile, I'm here, don't hesitate.

In reading all the memories that have been shared here, I can certainly see where you get your kind heart and generous spirit from.  Your mother must have been a remarkable person - but we all knew that when you began working with us at WRMC, as you displayed to us, those same qualities.  She will most assuredly be missed by those who loved her well and all those that she loved and cared for so much.  My prayers are with you and your family today and in the days ahead.

Having traveled AR for many years, Susan would often call/text me for directions and suggestions for places around the state. I loved her no-nonsense direct way of dealing with people, as I’m the same.  I’ll miss her “do you remember “ posts, and am grateful for all the fun memories we have.  I’m thankful for her mom-of-boys wisdom that helped me through many boy situations over the years.  Fly high, Susan, just like your beloved Eagles!

I haven’t seen Susan since early years after we graduated from MSM’69 but we reconnected through Facebook several years ago. That is the good part of social media! I always enjoyed her posts, seeing her family and remembering fun times from our school years. As someone else mentioned, I can still picture her wearing her basketball letter sweater and her big smile from school days! May all your wonderful memories help get you through the difficult times. So many wonderful memories of growing up together, scouting, camping, s'mores ... you will indeed be missed.  Thank you for all the hugs and laughter!

Susan and Don have been wonderful neighbors of mine for many years. Susan always greeted me with a smile. She will be missed. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Susan is and always will be a sister in the Mount Family, especially to those of us in our class of 69.  My memories of her that stand out are her kindness, her musical talents she shared so freely, and her on the basketball court.  I can still see her in her basketball letter sweater!  She leaves us far too soon, as far as we’re concerned; we’ll all see you again, Susan.  Until then, Rest In Peace and celebrate your homecoming - though we mourn your death, we celebrate your life.

Susan was a good  person. We were  friends since the early days of our time at the Mount. We have gone in and out of each other’s lives over the years. 
I remember that she, and Linda Warren (deceased), were the Managers of the Mounties and Belles basketball teams— losing  teams, but fun days! 
I remember we, and other friends, sat on the Bridge that connected the “ Old Building” to Marian Hall, almost everyday at lunch, in good weather, playing guitars and singing the latest folk song! Our “Crew” would hang out after school under the Bridge talking, joking around with the nuns who mentored us.
On graduation night a group of us had a bunking party at Susan’s house. We loved “Mama Marks,”  Susan’s Mom.  
There are lots of memories of our days in high school, and after—happy, and not so happy moments, but all a part of our Journey! 
I believe she entered everyday into the struggle to be a follower of Jesus Christ, and that itself commends her to the arms  of her Lord. From one Belle to another—Rest in peace, my friend, 

Susan was a friend from The Mount.  We sang, played guitar, had slumber parties and did a lot of “teenagey “ adventures.   I am so sad to hear of her passing.  My prayers to the family and may your memories comfort you. 

Susan will be missed by so many, She touched the lives of many people and was a role model of what a mother and grandmother should be. I will forever miss your friendship and all the laughs we shared together. 

My heart goes out to her family. Rest in Peace Susan.
