Ray was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church for many years and he loved his church family. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and lifelong St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. Some of his favorite hobbies were playing dominoes with his friends and cards with his family. Out of the few careers he worked in his lifetime, working as a Union Representative for UFCW 2008 was his favorite. He never met a stranger and loved telling jokes. He loved camping, family get-togethers, but most of all he loved his children and was the happiest being a Papaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond F. Lambert Sr. and Bertha (Stoll Lambert) Stevenson; his step-father, E. Earl Stevenson and a sister, Virginia Ann Humenski.
Ray is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Rosemary Lambert; his son, Tim (Tammy) Lambert; daughters, Kimberly (Ken) Moore, Amy (Wayne) Birge and Melissa (Thomas) Smith; nine grandchildren, Natalie and Caleb Lambert, Mackenzie and Taylor Moore, Madelyne and Nathan Birge, Andrew Lambert, and Julieann and Samantha Smith; his only brother, Bobby (Karen) Stevenson and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Rosary & Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2024 at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Little Rock. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the church. Ray will be laid to rest after the service at Calvary Cemetery.
