Raymond H. Hatfield, Jr., age 59, of Little Rock, passed away September 11, 2016. He was born December 2, 1956 in Lake Village, Arkansas, he worked for the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department as a court liaison. He was a graduate of Catholic High School. While in school he was a leader in the ROTC drill team and would practice for hours with his rifle until it was perfect. He also was an avid reader and collector of many things. He loved old movies and Syfy shows and movies. He was in the Navy from 1986 to 1990. He was very proud of the Navy and they were the 4 best years of his life. He was a very private man but would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. He was actively involved with Toys for Tots and volunteered with them for many years. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey C. Hatfield, Mr. and Mrs. George P. Fischer, his father, Raymond H. Hatfield, Sr. and Elizabeth Hatfield, two younger brothers, Paul Chester Hatfield and Johnny Steven Hatfield, nephew Christopher Hatfield. He leaves behind two brothers, Patrick V. Hatfield and James R. Hatfield (Kim), one sister, Phyllis LoPorto, one sister-in-law, Christine Hatfield, three nephews, four nieces, one great-nephew, Michael Hatfield, and a host of a huge family and friends. A Graveside Memorial service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
