Pamela Jane (Stanley) Shireman passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at the age of 65. She was born on February 3, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She leaves behind a spouse, Kenneth Moyer, one son Larry "Woody" Shireman, 2 granddaughters Jayden Michelle and Emley Grace Shireman, her parents James and Betty Stanley, 2 sisters Karen Stanley and Patti (Gene) Downing and a nephew James Cody Higgs.
Pam graduated from Parkview High school in 1974 and went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in Rhetoric and Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000. While attending UALR she fell in love with Astronomy. She spent several years working in the planetarium at UALR and at the Aerospace Education Center.
Pam was a true child of the 60's~a free spirit who marched to the beat of her own drum. She loved spending time with her granddaughters, writing, all things astronomy, and had a deep love of animals with a special spot in her heart for cats, big and small. She loved her two cats Maggie and Suki

A memorial service honoring Pamela's life will be held June 2, 2022 at 2 pm at Parkway Village Chapel located at 14300 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Arkansas
