Norma was born August 2, 1937 in Sweet Home, Arkansas to Adolph and Eula Jackson who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her brother who she loved dearly, Thomas Edward Jackson.
Norma is survived by her husband of 63 ½ years, John Edward Coker; her son, John Kevin and his wife, Stephanie, and her precious grandchildren, Rylie and Jack. She is also survived by her extended Coker family, Robert, Alice and Terry and the Jackson family, Doris, Terry and Gary.
Norma was a 1955 graduate of Fuller High School and was employed by AMF Cycle Company until her retirement in 1970.
Her hobbies included cooking, watching her daily soaps, and reading. Norma was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Governor of Arkansas has issued directives that face coverings must be worn and social distancing be observed; indoor events held at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth are limited to 50 in attendance due to the directive until further notice.
Due to Covid-19 no formal visitation is planned, but visits and viewing will be available Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth, 5800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock (501) 661-9111. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Pine Grove Cemetery with Brother Kevin Braswell officiating.
