Neil Hamilton Dobbins, 94, went to his eternal home where he was greeted by his late wife Regina and his siblings on August 25, 2024. He was preceded in death by wife, Regina Malczycki Dobbins and his parents Robert L. Dobbins and Mary Louise Raney Dobbins. He was the remaining survivor of his 10 siblings including Horace Dobbins, William Dobbins, Don Dobbins, Halcyon Hiller, Nell Archie, Gladys Gardner, Grace Delahoussay, Ida Kennedy, Tracy Dobbins and Sidney Dobbins.
Neil was an Arkansas Air National Guard veteran retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was a veteran of the Korean War and the 1968 Pueblo incident. Neil had a long career in industrial electronic sales working for Arkansas Electric, Southern Electronics and Carlton-Bates Co. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church. The family appreciates the church staff for letting Neil be a frequent visitor to their office. The family also appreciates Neil's caregivers including the staff of Keisha's Home Health, the nurses and staff of Briarwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, and the staff of Gentiva Hospice. When asked about how he was doing, his common greeting and refrain was "I'm fine as wine and twice as kind hope you are doing the same this time!"
He is survived by sons Alan Dobbins (Ileana) and Bill Dobbins. Known as "Daddy Neil", he was grandfather to beloved grandsons Andrew Dobbins (Shelby) and Brandon Dobbins and two great grandchildren Carson Dobbins and Cameron Dobbins.
