Michael Murray Harding (Ret. LTC) was a gentle man with a heart for his country, family, and the Catholic faith. Murray passed away on March 2, 2022, at his home leaving behind his loving wife Cindy Johnston Harding to whom he was married 47 years.
Murray was born June 26, 1946, in Little Rock, Ar. to Patrick Rice Harding and Lynn Liske Harding. He was also predeceased by his brother Patrick Harding, Jr.
Murray was a U.S. Army veteran who spent his early enlistment in Korea working as an intelligence officer. After devoting 28 years to the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a B.S. in Business where he played tennis on scholarship for the Arkansas Razorbacks and became a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity.
Above all else, Murray loved his children, Matthew Harding, Sarah Green (David) and Jenna Campbell (John). He was G-Daddy to his six precious grandchildren, Austin, Payton and Breanna Edington, Hayes Campbell, Kalee Holloway and Matt Green. He also leaves behind his dear cousin Tommy Harding and his wife Candy.
He became a Master Gardner and enjoyed the many hours he spent in the gardens of his home and various projects around Little Rock.
Services for Murray are scheduled for Saturday, March 12th at 2pm at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, Ar.
