Mary Dreher Stoker of Little Rock, Arkansas was born on December 21, 1933, the daughter of the late Henry Edward Dreher and Annie Carter Dreher. She died March 11, 2016 at the age of 82 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, George and Edward “Pete” Dreher. She is survived by her husband of 56 years James Stoker of Winona, Mississippi, two sons, Brian and Dean Stoker; three sisters, Elsie (Bill) Tubbs, Shirley Mans and Mildred “Mit” McGinness, two brothers, Gary (Janette) Dreher and Larry (Paula) Dreher and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a lifelong member of Ironton Baptist Church where she enjoyed teaching Sunday School Classes, first teaching a preschool class and later teaching an adult class for over 15 years. She was a surgical nurse for forty plus years at both St. Vincent and the VA Hospitals. Visitation will be Monday, March 14, 2016 at 9:00 AM followed by funeral services at 10:00 AM both in the Chapel of Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home, 5800 West 12th Street in Little Rock. Burial will follow in Ironton Cemetery. Services will be officiated by Dr. Sidney Thompson. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Mrs. Mary Stoker’s name to the Ironton Baptist Church Together We Grow fund.
