Mary Jane Burns

Mrs. Mary Jane Burns (Freeman) died peacefully on October 8, 2017 in Little Rock, Arkansas at age 88. Mary is survived by her granddaughter, Brandi M. Davison (Charles A. Smith); grandson, Matthew A. Faver; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brianna, Britton and Brylee-Ann and great- great- grandson, Jayloun, all of Little Rock, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Burns and her daughter, Sherry L. Burns-Faver, both of Little Rock, Arkansas. Mary was born on February 17, 1929 in Vanndale, Arkansas to James Francis and Willie May Flippo Freeman. She was raised by Benny and Beulah Diles. She was married to Floyd A. Burns for 56 years. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on October 11, 2017 at Griffin and Leggett at 5800 W. 12th LR, AR 72204. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on October 12, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Park at 2801 Asher, Ave 72204. Minister Charles A. Smith will officiate the ceremony.
