I just now discovered the passing of John.   I have known John for many years on the professional side.   He was a great man and I loved our talks about society in general, his wife, kids and his grandchildren.   I will miss seeing John each year when I had him do my taxes.   My condolences to the family.

This broke my heart. I was just talking about him and thinking about tax time. I m t a loss for words.   You were  real one!! Always spoke the truth. Not once did I ever sign for my taxes and that was that. That always turned into an annual catch up session. I will miss discussing life, the world's events, and people with you! Heaven gained an angel. Rest easy my friend. 

Brother John was my friend for nearly 50 years.  I just found out about his passing.  I'm sadden to my core.  To Lois and his family, I am so sorry for this terrible lost.  God bless you all and God bless John.

Mr. Goins was a very sweet, professional and humble man. He didn't mind helping anyone he could. He will be greatly missed. Cherish the memories you shared and the lessons he taught. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. 

I met John over 30 yrs ago not long after moving to Arkansas. John soon became my insurance agent for my car insurance. When I decided to buy a house, John helped me and referred me to a realtor.  I got my homeowners insurance through John as well. John was a great resource and would refer me to other resources in the community when I needed help.  John even gave me a part time job when I was trying to make ends meet. John was just a good guy with a positive attitude and  a good heart. He was like an older brother to me. John was my tax preparer also. He was very business minded. He gave good advice, had a comical spirit and a funny laugh. My husband Sherman was in John’s life also. Sherman would help John with plumbing issues on his properties.  Sherman and John became friends, and we are so shocked to hear of John’s passing. May Gods comfort, peace and strength be with Mrs Goins and the whole family. Rest In Peace John. Can’t believe you’re gone! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

John holds a special place in my heart as a mentor in the business and a friend. He has supported me from Day 1. He was always someone I could talk to about anything, ask important questions and he gave me great advice on how to run my office the way I wanted to run my office. He encouraged me to be a professional at all times and maintain a great reputation. In short, protect my opportunity and my blessing. John, thank you for everything! You will be missed my friend.

This has been one of the biggest shocks of our lives! We have known John for over 40 years.  If it had not been for him we would not have met and gotten married.  Miss you already "G"!

I met John when I moved here from San Antonio, Tx and needed help with my taxes. He was so kind, professional and and very comical.  He quickly bonded with my husband and myself because all three of us were proud veterans.  We are heartbroken to hear of John's passing and would like to extend our prayers & condolences to his family and friends. We will truly miss our friend of nearly 25 years.

Working next to each other as neighbors and Insurance Agents we got the chance to have some good conversations about life experiences and on dealing with customers in the Insurance Business and on Real Estate etc. Would even see you leave for your vehicle after a long day at work at Shelters everyday to go workout and play basketball at the War Memorial Stadium to stay fit. Just spoke the other day and now you have got your wings and transitioned. Life is precious live it and enjoy and keep God 1st. You will be missed John. This is such a shock. I have been an auto & homeowner insurance client  of John for over 15 years  as well as he being my tax preparer.
This past year he made me make a pledge to him that I would get my tax information to him before the deadline date or even just get it to him  before the end of the year. He always gave me a Motivational Speech on any subject. You couldn't leave his office in just a few minutes, there was always a good lengthy conversation, which was a joy. Family, John will be highly missed and be consoled that his time here on earth was well spent with services to his fellow mankind. Mrs. Goins, may you have peace and comfort during this time of your loss and know many prayers are with you and the family.

John was far more than my insurance agent and tax preparer. He was more like a younger brother. We even argued like siblings. We 
 we shared  our life stories. He was my go-to person for everything other than insurance. He often said “Ms. Nimmer you’ve been with me a long time, I don’t mind”. God bless all of John's family and friends. I met John as a teenager, 32 years ago, when I worked for Mike Butler after school. John has done my taxes for me every year since then. He was always so pleasant and always had a smile and asked about my whole family every year. He will be missed. Praying for God's strength for his loved ones.
