Iva H. Danforth, 94, of Little Rock passed away November 8, 2024. She was born February 23, 1930 in Vilonia, Arkansas to the late Charles and Villa Haslip. In addition to her parents, Iva was welcomed into Heaven by her beloved husband, Fred Danforth; and siblings, Alma (Elmo) Cummings, Marie (Cephas) Davis, Evalena (Curtis) Dare, and Emmett (Ida Mae) Haslip.
Iva dedicated over thirty years of her life to working in sales at MM Cohns before retiring. Outside of work, she enjoyed tending to her flower garden, fishing, spending time with her family, and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks (WPS). Although known for baking wonderful pies, Iva’s famous banana pudding was the most frequently requested dessert for birthdays and holidays, a beloved tradition in her family.
Those left to cherish the memories of Iva include her children, Keith (Kathy) Danforth and Carol Ann Edwards; grandchildren, Chrystal (Richard) Ball, Becca (Adam) Danforth, and Christopher (Laura), Jonathan (Rachel), Amy (Joey) Danforth, Ben, Stephen, and Luke (Caroline) Danforth; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Logan, Jonathan, Dice, Corrine, Isabelle, Weston, Loki, and Ava; and extended family that will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2024 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home. Iva will be laid to rest following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be the evening prior, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, November 14, 2024 at the funeral home.
