Anna Jean Waldron, 86 of Benton, was born January 27, 1929 in Prattsville to John Oliver and Matilda (Reynolds) Williams. She entered into eternal life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 30, 2015. Anna is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Louis P. Waldron, brothers: Paul Williams, James Williams (Dorothy), and Johnny Williams, sisters: Mavis Williams and Inez Stuckey (Clacil), and sister-in-law: Nancy Williams. Anna is survived by her daughter LuAnn Thompson (John) of Benton (grandchildren, Michael and Drew), son Miles P. Waldron (Gina) of Carrollton, Texas (grandchildren Sarah (great-grandchild Raines) and Vanessa), brother Thomas Williams of Hope, and sister-in-law Elaine Williams of Prattsville. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends. Anna lived most of her adult life in Little Rock where she was a member of Western Hills United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Western Hills United Methodist Church or Arkansas Children’s Hospital. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff and fellow residents at Mt. Carmel Community for their loving care, support, companionship, and laughter during the last 7 years of her life. Further appreciation is extended to Heartland Rehab and Care Center, Saline Memorial Hospital, and Baptist Health Extended Care Unit. Graveside Services will be Thursday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.
