Willie Lee Davis

Willie Lee Davis, age 86, of Little River, South Carolina passed away on January 26, 2023 at McLeod Seacoast Hospital in Little River. Born on September 30, 1936 in Apex, North Carolina he was the son of the late Sydney and Dora Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Christian Life Center Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM. A graveside service will follow on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Butts-Davis Family Cemetery in Morrisville, North Carolina.

Willie is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Gloria Ann Davis; children, Tina Fann, Stacy Davis (Deidre), Tracie Feld (Jon); step-children, Michael Betts (Kathy), Rodney Betts (Cindy); sister, Wanda Cooley; 13 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bobby Davis, Wade Davis, Doris Giles and Swanne Dawkins.

A devout Christian, Willie deeply loved his family, friends and Jesus Christ. He poured his life into the building of the Kingdom of God. Beginning his journey at First Pentecostal Church of Durham, North Carolina, leading to the building and growth of PowerHouse Church in Longs, South Carolina and later continued at Christian Life Center Church in Myrtle Beach. Willie’s faith was his strength, shield and triumph.
