Little River, SC
July 3rd, 1945-May 21, 2022
Guess what…I passed. Who would’ve thought the most handsome, resilient, and hardworking man there is could,in fact, pass. I guess this is possible as I am no longer in pain. Maybe I let my guard down and someone had the audacity to dare take me away from my beautiful loving wife, Donna, of 48 years. She is everything to me.
The difference between me and everyone else was that I chose to make the most of everything and enjoyed my days. Now of course, I was a mischievous young boy. I picked up lucky strikes. We all do things we are not proud of. Now let me tell you, I worked. I made sure my family would always be provided for. I loved my girls deeply and I was a good man. Fast forward, at the ripe young age of 76, I still loved to garden, fish, and be a profound member of the Breakfast Club at the Finish Line.
To the guys, Beth, and Julie, you all kept me going and gave me something to look forward to. Every day I was guaranteed a laugh and a story to come home with to tell my family about. Thank you.
To my family, thanks for everything. Continue to laugh and enjoy life in the ways that make life most meaningful to you as it did to me. Thank you for every memory and moment up to the last second. “Track” me down when your time comes so we can pick up where we last left off. Until next time…
Love forever and always,
Dad, AT&T Bill, and the most handsome member of the Breakfast Club
