After growing up in Danville, VA. He enlisted in the Navy and was on active duty upon the ship USS Mississinewa until his honorable discharge in 1972.
He then moved to North Myrtle Beach area where he spent his time and passion for building things in the construction business. His last passion was in Water Construction that took him back to the sea and water.
His most favorite time and memories was with his friends on the many rides and trips he made on his Harley Davidson.
His wife Debbie Wade passed away on August 21, 2024.
He is survived by his sister, Selena Hanks. Brother in law Darrel Hanks and nephew Joseph Hanks.
A special thanks to Larry, Steve, Sandy and Judy who we think of as family for all the support.
He was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Wade, father Cecil Wade and mother Janet Wade.

A visitation for Sea Dog will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory, 11840 Hwy 90, Little River, SC 29566. There will be Taps and flag folding ceremony provided by the U.S. Navy Funeral Honors Team at 3:00 p.m.
