Karen B. Vereen, age 85, of Little River, South Carolina passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024 at River Park Senior Living. Born on May 31, 1939 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur G. and Dorothy Bellamy.
Karen was a lifelong member of Lakeside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Rayford Vereen or North Myrtle Beach, two daughters, Kim Greene (Phillip) of Wilmington, North Carolina, Robbin King of Elkin, North Carolina and her sister, Betty Skeen of Little River.
She is predeceased by her two brothers, Norman Bellamy and William G. Bellamy, Jr. and her sister, Anne Hoskins.
A funeral service for Karen will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Lakeside Baptist Church, 615 11th Ave N, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
A private burial for the family will follow in the Little River United Methodist Church Cemetery.
