John never met a stranger. His cure for a headache was Cheerwine with a peanut butter cracker. He loved fried fish, Lexington Barbeque and Aunt Mary's homemade chocolate cake. He loved oyster stew but not the oysters. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, "Granddaddy John", and a loyal friend. He will live in our hearts forever.
