My best friend’s Daddy, my heart breaks for the family 

His bright smile, warm hello, and interesting tidbits of conversation were always the highlight of my visits to Waterway Furniture.  The recent TV ad in his honor made me aware of his passing. I immediately felt like I lost a dear old friend. My sincere condolences are extended to his family and all who knew him.  I’m certain he touched many lives and I feel fortunate that one of them was mine. 

So sorry for your loss. Mama has been ill for several months and not been watching  TV much. Saw  that Mr. Jordan passed on. We always enjoyed watching  the commercials of him and Bryan. My mama always went on  about how sweet he and Bryan looked together. Just saw the commercial again and the memories came back.  Remember that Someone so loved is never gone-We carry them in our heart s forever AND HE WAS SO LOVED. God bless

It was very nice knowing Mr. Jordan for many years.  I want to extend my condolences to his family and friends.

So sorry to hear about Bro. Ringle. He was a friend to everyone he met. Didn't know in time to visit the family, but all of you have our love and prayers. He was a special friend to us. God bless you all.

I was fortunate to have sat by Mr. Jordan during Jan Livingston's visitation earlier in this year. Everyone in line knew him and he them. I didn't really know Mr. Jordan that well, but he made me feel as if we were old friends. I sat with him for over an hour or more waiting. He was very funny, kept me laughing the entire time. I was sad to hear of his passing. He and his furniture store were a fixture of North Myrtle Beach. My condolences to the Jordan family and his extended North Myrtle Beach family. 

JAMES R. JORDAN  IS MY SWEET RELATIVE AND ALWAYS PART OF MY FAMILY.  WE HAVEN'T BEEN CLOSE OVER THE YEARS, HOWEVER, I FEEL I COULD  DEPEND ON HIM IF I NEEDED TO.  HE HAS BEEN A PILLAR OF THE COMMUNITY AND OWNED A SUCCESSFUL FURNITURE BUSINESS.  I AM SO SORRY HE HAS LEFT US BUT I KNOW HE HAS A BETTER HOME AWAITING.  AMEN!  YOU WILL BE MISSED.

 So sorry to hear about Ringel ....I have fond memories of him back in the days when we had a furniture store. He was always so kind and had a big smile on his face. Love and Prayers for all of your family...

When we moved here 7 years ago, and went furniture shopping, I remember well, how Mr. Jordan treated us. 
Having been a furniture dealer for 40 years, I think warmly about true Southern Hospitality, as exemplified by this gentleman of the South.. Thanks for reminding me, and may the love of God shine on you and you family.  

Darlene, James loved and gave so much. He touched so many lives in a positive way. His warm smile will be missed by so many. May James live on in the memories of you heart. Linda and I will always cherish the fond memories of your dad. Your faith in God will ease all pain. God will be there to comfort you in this time of sorrow. Loved Brother (Ringo), he always called and sing happy birthday to me on my birthday, always called and thanked me for my prayers. He was a good friend and brother in Christ who talked and walked the same everywhere at all times. Can’t wait to see you again in our mansions in the sky!! Love you my brother!!!!

So sorry to hear of your loss. Have great memories  spending time with the Jordan family when we were in Conway.  I know he will be missed from you all. But the greatest of all is knowing he is now rejoicing with all his loved ones and waiting on you all to join him.  Praying for you all. 

To the Jordan Family,
I didn’t know Mr. Jordan too long, but I can say out of the 2 years I’ve lived here in Little River and had the pleasure to get to know him and work with him,  he is truly one of the sweetest and nicest people I have ever met. I enjoyed our talks on the front porch and sitting at his desk listening to his stories.  He is the true definition of what a genuine person is and always had that contagious smile to brighten anyone’s day.  James is a special man and will be missed by many.  Sending you all thoughts and prayers during this difficult time and in the days ahead. 

We were customers of Waterway and will miss that smiling face we were greeted with when we entered the building each time!   His little jokes and his nice pens he gave out - he just made us feel so welcomed!!!  What a sweet man!!!  It will surely be a loss to us not to see him the next time we enter.  Our condolences to the family, friends, customers, and employees who will, I am sure, all miss him dearly.  May the family find peace and comfort during this difficult time!

So sorry to hear about the passing of your loved one. We always enjoyed shopping at the store and seeing Mr. Jordan. He always had an infectious smile and a twinkle in his eye. Will certainly miss him. Prayers for comfort and peace in the difficult days ahead.

What a wonderful man.  He was always sitting in his chair in the front of the store to welcome everyone. He will be missed a lot.

To the entire Jordan Family-
We met Mr. Jordan and many of you about 2 1/2 years ago when we moved to Little River from Fairfax, Va. and went to Waterway Furniture.  We were always greeted by Mr. Jordan who loved to sit on one of the chairs as you enter the store.   We shopped there so many times I've lost count.  Always happy and always had a great big smile.  Had some really nice conversations with him about his youth and how he started working for the owner of Waterway and how far he traveled each day to get to work.  Loved that he always had gospel music playing in the background.  He treated everyone like family as did everyone who works there.   He will be missed by everyone.  I pray for the entire Jordan Family and the Waterway Team.   I can just picture how happy he is in Heaven now!  Well done faithful servant; you have earned the rest!  

Mr. Jordan was such a pleasant man, he always had a smile on his face. I am sending my condolences as well as my prayers to his family , he will be missed by many.
