James B. “Tripp” Jackson, III, 57 of North Myrtle Beach passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at his residence. Tripp was born on May 23, 1965 in Charlotte, NC. He was the son of the late Martha (Pierce) and James B. Jackson, Jr.
Tripp was a police officer for 19 years with North Myrtle Beach and Horry County Police Departments.
He currently was captain and owner of Coastal Native Charters. He could navigate the Waccamaw River or the creeks in Cherry Grove.
He was a good friend to everyone. He loved hunting and country music.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 16, 2022 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel, The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Tripp is survived by his children, Blakeney Jackson and Amber Jackson; two brothers; Stephen P. Jackson, and David M. Jackson (Amy); two nephews; Will Nolan and Charlie; a niece, Elizabeth; special “grandchildren” Annslee Holmes and Brylee Holmes; and his step mother, Ann Ebert Jackson.
