He was born on June 12, 1930 in Newark, NJ. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Russell, Sr. Mother, Helen Wittemore Russell, and son, Frank Russell III.
Franks father, the first Frank Russell, was born in NJ in 1910, the oldest son of parents who had emigrated from Sicily a few years earlier. They moved to Atlanta, GA in 1952 with their two children, Frank Jr., the eldest, and Pat, his younger sister.
Frank attended Columbia high school in NJ and received his college degree from Rutgers University. Where he was also a member of the U.S. Army National Guard. He moved back to Atlanta following his discharge, where he married and had four children.
Frank later joined the firm of a German chemical and plastic company, American Hoechst, Now known as Celanese. During his tenure with Hoechst Celanese, Frank spent many years traveling extensively both domestically and abroad. He loved his job and accepted all the challenges with gusto and dedication.
Frank moved back to Pennsylvania where he met his current wife, Loretta, in 1984.
Sport were a great love of Franks and he was always available to play tennis, a round of golf, or bridge no matter where or when. With his new found friends or lifetime buddies. And it was his love of golf that brought him and Loretta, to Myrtle Beach.
Frank is survived by his wife Loretta his son Jen Paul, wife Ann; daughter Dana, husband Bobbie; daughter Susan, husband Robert; niece, Terry L. Brown; and daughter-in-law, Diane Russell Linder; along with six grandchildren.
