A proud member of the Little River Elks Lodge and VFW Post 10804, Donald moved to South Carolina in 2016 from New Jersey. Donald worked as an assembly lineman with General Motors in Ewing, New Jersey and Baltimore, Maryland.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda Acorn; sons, Robert Acorn (Laura Branham), Donald Acorn, Jr.; grandson, Carter Acorn; brother, Doug Acorn (Mary Ann); sister, Ruth Clowes. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ted Acorn.
