Diane Slade

Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Robert Slade; brothers, Donald Voisine (Tammy), Jerry Voisine (Don Friedrich); sisters, Gilda Madore, Joella Trepanier (Clement); brother in-law, Roger Gendreau; sister in-law, Janet Voisine; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Diane also leaves behind her three beloved feline companions, Charlie, Tiger and Rosie.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Sylva Voisine, and Gilman Voisine; sister, Jacqueline Gendreau.

From the age of five, Diane spent her childhood living in Plainville, Connecticut, where she later graduated from Plainville High School. After marrying the love of her life Robert, the two moved to Bristol, Connecticut for 34 years. The couple’s next move in 2023 landed them near the Carolina Coast in Loris, South Carolina. Diane loved decorating, cooking, enjoying the beach and flea markets. She was also a collector of fiestaware most of her life.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory.
