Deborah Page Morris, 64, passed away April 12, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born on November 15, 1956 in Portsmouth, NH, she was the daughter of the late Thelmer and Mayrene Nield Page.
Debbie graduated from Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH in 1974 and New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, NH in 1976 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. After graduating from college, Debbie lived in Oxford, NY where she worked for dentists in Norwich and Hamilton, NY. In July of 1981 she married the love of her life, Fred J. Morris, Jr. Debbie retired as a Registered Dental Hygienist at Coastal Cosmetic Dental Associates in Little River. She was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church in North Myrtle Beach, where she was a member of the Chancel choir, participant in Stephen Ministries, a former member of church council and served on several committees. Debbie was a former member of the North Myrtle Beach Clean City Committee, an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful, Inc.
Debbie enjoyed reading, sewing, sharing love with her family, serving God and the King of Glory Lutheran Church, singing in the choir, spending time with her granddaughter, taking family vacations, and attending University of South Carolina Gamecock football games with family and friends. Throughout her life, Debbie enjoyed making people smile and caring for others. Her goals in life were to be happy, laugh often, being productive, establishing “roots” in one community, enjoying quality time with family, cuddling with her “fur babies”, and sharing warm fellowship with a loving family and friends.
Other than her mother, Mayrene N. Page, survivors include her husband of 40 years, Fred J. Morris, Jr.; daughter, Page Caroline Morris; son, Benjamin Matthew Morris (Chelci); and granddaughter, Royce Michelle Morris; brother-in-law, Lee Morris (Nancy) of Longs; and sister-in-law, Hope Morris Hickman of Little River.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at King of Glory Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, April 16 in Lee Funeral Home Chapel.
