Chris L. Collins

Christopher “Lance” Collins, 33, passed away March 23, 2023.

Born on May 10, 1989 in Marion, SC, he was the son of Lisa Hardwick Mincey and the late Dale L. Collins, Jr.

Lance was a graduate of Pee Dee Academy, where he spent the happiest years of his life with his classmates. He participated in all sports and was known to always flash a big smile and have a kind heart. Lance loved hunting, fishing and always looked forward to his yearly trips to Maryland to duck hunt with family and friends. He attended Little River United Methodist Church, but was a member of Gapway Baptist Church in Mullins, SC.

Survivors include his mother, Lisa Collins Mincey (Dr. Kenneth Mincey); paternal grandfather, Dale L. Collins, Sr.; maternal, grandmother, Jean C. Hardwick. He is predeceased by his father, Dale L. Collins, Jr.; maternal grandfather, Aubrey Hardwick; and paternal grandmother, Jackie W. Collins.

Services will be private with the family.
