Charles Parker

Charles Clifford Parker "Charlie", 62, of Little River, SC, passed away on January 15, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on February 22, 1961, in Thomasville, NC, to the late Clifford and Sally Parker. He is also preceded in death by a sister Gwendolyn Thomas. Charlie was a loving husband, hardworking individual, and a devoted father and grandfather. His infectious personality brought smiles to the faces of everyone around him.

Charlie had a successful career as a Truck Driver. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Bear and his loving wife. Charlie enjoyed camping and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Debra Daffron Parker of the home, his daughter Krystal Parker Pressley and husband Shawn of Mooresville, NC, his stepson David Garrison and wife Colbey of Hampsted, NC, his stepson Charlie Garrison and wife Morgan of Greensboro, NC, his stepson Mikey Garrison and wife Samantha of Camden, SC, and his sister Linda Strider of Denton, NC. He was also blessed with numerous grandchildren: Lyra, Tyler, and Zoey Pressley, Emma and Annie Garrison, and Scarlett, Sadie, and Sullivan Garrison.

A Celebration of Life for Charlie will be held on January 27, 2024, from 2PM to 5PM at Windjammer Clubhouse located at 2200 Little River Dr, Little River, SC 29566. In memory of Charlie, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Amedisys Hospice Foundation, 402 Singleton Ridge Rd. Suite C Conway, SC 29526, in lieu of flowers.

The compassionate staff at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory in Little River, SC, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Charlie will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his love, hard work, and his ability to bring joy to everyone he encountered. May he rest in peace.
